Insults

From Yahoo Answers:

Is insulting people a human right?

For the sake of ethics and morality, insulting is not a human right but a firm degradation of dignity and an exposure of hypocrisy.

Through insulting, we can have wars. Through insulting, we can have defiance and rebellion. Through insulting, we can have violence.

First of all, what exactly is a "Human Right"?

"Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, whatever our nationality, place of residence, sex, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, language, or any other status. We are all equally entitled to our human rights without discrimination. These rights are all interrelated, interdependent and indivisible."-http://www.ohchr.org/en/issues/Pages/Wha…

Also, nowhere in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, do you see the word "Insult". Insulting is a contrary subject to a human right.

I will give you an example: If you insult Kim Jong Il, you are dead. If you insult other people, you must face the consequences they give to you. It is so foolish. Would you insult aggressive people? I wouldn't. Would you insult people who dares to kill you? I wouldn't. This sacrifice is worthless and unwise.

If you are insulting people for the right cause and for the right objective, well, that is a fight for something worthy of possessing. Now, that's what's right in the act. However, if you are insulting people for the wrong cause, like insulting criminals. It is the road to something worse.

I wouldn't consider insulting as a right at all. I would instead consider it as an act of human morality. Human rights are absolute and definitely insulting is not something absolute. Don't be a sacrificial lamb just for insulting. That's not being great but being a fool.

As you can notice right now, I am insulting the fools to learn a lesson, not to destroy someone's reputation and dignity. There is a gigantic difference between the two. Insult for the good of development, not for the good of suicide or criminal tendencies.

Psychologically speaking, insulting is like fighting for justice. It is something like a defense mechanism. Insulting is a form of scapegoating. Aggression is frustration in action and it is a non-verbal form of insulting. Insulting exists in politics and in politics alone. I am referring to all kinds of politics.

Whenever there is cheating in a certain competition, there is insulting. Whenever there is miscommunication and misunderstandings, there is insulting.

Insulting is inevitable since it is one of the basic urges and instincts of the human psyche to level this psyche to others psyche. Conscience and wisdom however reviews and analyzes the act of insulting well, that it somehow needs controlling.

What I typed here, seemed to be a mixture of opinion and facts and that's how I see it, gained from other educational sources.

I therefore conclude that insulting is not a basic human right, but a basic human instinct mixed with the values of morality and ethics.

So is insulting right? In my opinion, I seriously object to insulting people... and saying people are two-faced when they are not... Stop these insults please.
