Here's a couple of inspirational stories I've gathered over the internet. If you find it idiotic, it probably means you are human on the outside but not humane on the inside.


1. Shibli entered a profound mystical state and was placed in an asylum as a madman. As soon as they heard, his shocked disciples came to visit him. Shibli asked, "Who are you?" "We are some of those who love and follow you." they replied. Shibli began throwing stones at his students. They began to run away, crying, "It's true. Shibli really has gone crazy." Then Shibli called out to them, "Didn't I hear you say that you loved me? You could not even bear a stone or two before running away. What became of that sincere love you claimed you had for me? Did your love fly away with a couple of stones? If you had really loved me, you would have patiently endured the little bit of discomfort I caused you."

2. An old Cherokee is telling his granddaughter about a fight that is going on inside himself. He said it is between two wolves. One is evil: Anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego. The other is good: Joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith. The granddaughter thought about it for a minute and then asked her grandfather, "Which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one I feed."

Which one did you guys think was the better one?

The First B-ball experience

During recess today, Xue Wei, Jovi, Clinton and I went to play besketball. Jovi and I were eating lunch together at first, then he told me they were playing so I just tagged along to have some fun. Fun... not really the word to use though. When we got there there was a Sec 2 boy playing. He challenged us 1 vs 4. First to seven won. Well he got it and thrashed us 7-2. Fortunately Xue Wei saved face for us. He scored a sweet three-pointer and the other was just an easy shot. The REAL test began though. The Sec 2's friends came and we dicided to play a match. Determination

Once a big fat Mouse and a lively little Mouse were hopping along together when they had the misfortune of jumping into a pail of fresh milk. They swam for hours and hours hoping to get out somehow; but the sides of the pail were steep and slippery and death seemed to be certain. When the big Mouse was exhausted he lost courage. There seemed no hope of rescue. "Why keep struggling against the inevitable? I cannot swim any longer." He moaned. "Keep on! Keep on!" urged the little Mouse, who was still circling the pail. So they went on for a while. But the big Mouse decided it was no use. "Little brother, We may as well give up" he gasped. "I am going to quit struggling."Now only the little Mouse was left. He thought to himself. "Well, to give up is to be dead, so I will keep swimming." Two more hours passed and the tiny legs of the determined little Mouse were almost paralysed with exhaustion. Belief

Believe in Yourself There may be days when you get up in the morning and things aren't the way you had hoped they would be. That's when you have to tell yourself that things will get better. There are times when people disappoint you and let you down. But those are the times when you must remind yourself to trust your own judgments and opinions, to keep your life focused on believing in yourself. There will be challenges to face and changes to make in your life, and it is up to you to accept them. Constantly keep yourself headed in the right direction for you. It may not be easy at times, but in those times of struggle you will find a stronger sense of who you are. So when the days come that are filled with frustration and unexpected responsibilities, remember to believe in yourself and all you want your life to be.
